Risen 3
I started working on Risen 3 at Piranha Bytes as an intern and later became an Environment Artist after finishing my apprenticeship as Digital Media Designer. During this time, I created many different environments for the game. The assets I used were predominantly created by other artists, but I could contribute various decorational props as well as some of the unique Legendary Items. The project granted me a lot of artistical freedom and allowed me to come up with my own level design ideas for most of the areas I have been working on.
These pictures show areas of the game that were mainly arranged by me. Our art team (Sascha Henrichs, Paul Springfeld, Thiemo Vetter, Andreas Menkhoff, Mathis Widrat) worked with combined efforts on all areas of the game, so you’ll find a bit (or a lot) of their work in each of these pictures as well.
